Located in Porto, AAJUDE (Associação de Apoio à Juventude Deficiente) was founded in 1982 with the efforts of a group of parents who needed a school that would take in their children.

AAJUDE's mission is to welcome mildly and moderately mentally handicapped young people, providing them, in addition to a family environment, with all the means that will enable them to develop their abilities and, above all, have the happiness to which they are undeniably entitled as full citizens.
