Conceição is Associate Professor of Social Philosophy and Ethics at the Catholic University - Católica Porto Business School. She has a PhD in Philosophy in the area of Ethics Applied to Economics and Management from the University of Lancaster-UK.

She has published in various national and international journals in the field of business ethics.

She was a researcher at the Center for Applied Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University, Lisbon, in the area of Business Ethics.

She has carried out projects for the Forum of Business Administrators, and participates in various seminars and conferences on subjects related to economic and business ethics.
