Platform of funding opportunities for the social economy
The only online platform in Portugal that brings together all the national and international funding opportunities available to Social Economy organisations and initiatives.
Non-profit organisations have until 10 February 2025 to submit applications for projects that promote transformation towards fair societies and a climate-neutral future. Projects worth between €80,000 and €200,000 will be funded.
Non-profit and public entities have until 14 February 2025 to submit applications for pilot projects, action plans or training programmes in blue innovation and competitiveness, marine and terrestrial environment, culture and sustainable tourism. The maximum amount of funding per project is €3,500,000.
The ScienceUs project aims to create a European network of citizen science initiatives in areas related to climate change adaptation, in line with the EU's mission.
Through this opportunity, the European Commission aims to recognise and honour the excellent results achieved in the implementation of gender equality by academic and research organisations. Projects of up to €100,000 will be funded.
Through this opportunity, the Auchan Foundation aims to support social organisations that develop projects in the area of Healthy Eating and Combating Food Waste. Projects of up to €160,000 will be funded.
The purpose of the Foundations Prize is to recognise and reward natural or legal persons with outstanding work or projects in the fields of Art and Science, as well as Citizenship and Solidarity, in 2023, and to contribute to their appreciation and dissemination in society.
The European Social Innovation Prize is organised by the European Commission, with the support of the European Innovation Council. Each year, the competition tackles a different social issue, with this year's challenge focussing on Digital Democracy. The #BeActive Awards competition is designed to support projects and individuals who have successfully promoted sport and physical activity across Europe. Each of the 4 categories will award one winner with €10,000 and 2 finalists (2nd and 3rd place) with €2,500 each. Applications until 24-05-2024.
This award is intended to recognise the work carried out by individuals, institutions, NGOs and other entities that promote the education of young girls and women. The award winners must make a contribution towards achieving Sustainable Development Goals 4 (Quality Education) and 5 (Gender Equality). Applications until 24-05-2024.
The Interreg VI-B South West Europe Territorial Cooperation Programme is a transnational cooperation programme between the 4 countries in this geographical area (Spain, France, Portugal and the Principality of Andorra), which aims to respond to the main challenges facing the South West Europe area. Applications until 31 May 2024.
The World Habitat Awards recognise projects around the world that offer practical, low-cost and innovative solutions to the most pressing housing needs and problems for grants of up to £10,000. Applications until 3 March 2024.
Individuals over the age of 18 and/or organisations legally established in CEB (Council of Europe Development Bank) member states can submit their projects in the early stages of implementation that address pressing social issues until 18 March 2024.
