Coordinator of the Ethics Forum of Católica Porto Business School

Helena is a lecturer, researcher and consultant in Business Ethics and Sustainability at Católica Porto Business School.

From 2003 to 2019, Helena was a guest lecturer on Business Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility, namely on the International MBA and Atlantic MBA. She currently coordinates and teaches the executive courses "Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer" and "Ethics, Compliance and Whistleblowing in Organisations".

In 2015 she created the CPBS Ethics Forum, which she has been coordinating ever since, and since 2018 she has been the national focal point for the IBE (Institute of Business Ethics) study "Ethics at Work: survey of employees". At CEGEA - Centro de Estudos de Gestão e Economia Aplicada, she supports the development of mechanisms and processes for managing the ethical performance of organisations.

Helena has a PhD in Management (2015) from the Faculty of Economics, University of Porto; a Master's degree in "Corporate Social Responsibility, Accounting and Social Auditing (2004), University of Barcelona; a degree in Economics (1984) from the Faculty of Economics, University of Porto.
