Lizandra Gasparro

Socio-environmental Impact Project Manager

I specialise in Social and Environmental Business Management at ESCAS and CEATS - FIA, in producing content with purpose and facilitating participatory processes. As a journalist, I've had the opportunity to cover various areas of the sector, but it was in the Third Sector that I discovered another important role for communication - giving a voice and a place to initiatives that promote transformations in lives and realities.

I worked for around 10 years at IPE - Instituto de Pesquisas Ecológicas (Ecological Research Institute) on socio-environmental conservation, community development and environmental education projects. In 2007 I contributed to the preparation of the "Practical Guide to Cause Related Marketing: Guidelines and Cases", an IDIS initiative. I took part in the training process in Social Entrepreneurship - at Usina de Ideias (2012), promoted by Artemísia and I trained in one of the Social Impact Assessment courses at Aliança Empreendedora.

I recently graduated from the Germinate Programme, a training course that develops facilitators capable of leading transformation processes on a personal, social and organisational level.

Seven years ago I chose Lisbon as my home and since 2022 I've been a Transforma representative. There in Portugal, I've been helping to structure and consolidate the work of Impact Monitoring and Evaluation for organisations and projects committed to (much-needed) transformations in the world.

I'm passionate about nature and look to it for inspiration to continue building paths of prosperity, equality, fluidity and purpose.
