She has a degree in Sociology from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto (2000) and a postgraduate degree in Management of Non-Profit Organisations from the Catholic University - Porto Regional Centre (2007).

In 2003 she joined EAPN Portugal, working in the areas of research and projects. From 2011 to 2022 she was a member of the Development and Training Department and currently holds the position of National Coordinator.
