FILIPA LEMOS CRISTINA, FOUNDER OF POWERUP, ON THE PODCAST O AR É DE TODOS #126

Filipa Lemos Cristina is a social entrepreneur and is in a battle to empower organisations with so-called soft skills. When we talk about soft skills, we mean empathy, resilience, creativity or teamwork. Everyone considers them important and probably very few people consider them soft. Not only are they quite difficult to learn and train, but they are essential for the overwhelming majority of career paths. That's why he created PowerUP, a skills accelerator with the aim of "humanising" organisations (25:28) and developing five human skills: "empathy, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity and communication".

In between, we talk about skills, more "hard" or "soft", but the starting point is Kinderpedia, a digital platform with the aim of simplifying administrative, financial and even pedagogical processes, improving school-family communication and promoting the development of pupils' digital literacy (1:24).

A conversation about competences and the places and platforms where they can be developed, the different types of competences and their importance for our personal and professional lives, with an entrepreneur for whom the "willingness and vulnerability" to look inwards is the first step on the journey of development.
