GEOfunds Opportunity | UNESCO Hamdan Prize for Teacher Development
Portuguese organisations can nominate candidates for the 100,000 USD prize who are dedicated to improving teacher performance and effectiveness. Until 31 October 2023.

The UNESCO Hamdan bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Prize is available to apply for until 31 October 2023. This prize is designed to support excellence in practice and teacher effectiveness. Created in 2008, it aims to recognise improvements in the quality of teaching and learning in order to achieve the goals of education for all, one of UNESCO's priorities.

Projects aimed at improving the performance and effectiveness of teachers around the world are eligible and Portuguese organisations can nominate candidates.

The prize awarded will be worth 100,000 USD for each of the three winning candidates.
